– A robot café that is always open is a dream come true, says Kentaro Yoshifuji.
The café is the first of its kind and was opened in connection with the inauguration of the Paralympics 2021 in Tokyo.
– We wanted to offer more choices for people to work, even if they can no longer move their bodies.
Via 20 smaller robots, which sit on the tables, guests can order drinks and food from the “pilots” from home. At the same time, there are three larger, human-like, robots that serve and greet guests. In addition, the café has a robot barista.
In the clip above, you can see the barista making press coffee to order.
