Now it’s time for Lisa Ajax to test her chances again, this time with the contribution “Awful Liar”. When News24 met Lisa Ajax at a press conference, in connection with the announcement of the artists in December 2023, she told all about her number.
You’re a bit of a Mello pro after all. What’s your recipe for going as far as possible this time?
– I don’t see myself as a Mello professional. Absolutely, I know what’s going on here, but every time you’re involved, it’s still just as nervous and exciting and fun.
– Everything is about the song. I think I have a very good song this year, and it’s the one that can take me far. So I hope and believe that the Swedish people will still feel that they like it.
What are you most nervous about?
– It’s a very difficult song, vocally and technically. So I’m absolutely nervous about it. It takes a lot of practice on my part to practice this song, and it’s a little nerve-wracking. It’ll be fine, but that’s the hardest thing about this song.

What will be on your “rider” during Melodifestivalen? What do you want in the lodge?
– I want honey in my lodge. If I don’t have honey, it’s like… not good. I love honey. I take it right into my mouth, and it just makes it smooth and lovely before going on stage. And then I need water, because that is also extremely important.
– Of course, I love sweets and stuff like that, it’s nice. I love chocolate balls, so it would have been nice to have them in the lodge. But honey and water are by far the most important, and lemon is also great. Mix honey, lemon and ginger in warm water.

– Oh god, I really don’t know. Yes, but Miss Snusk might be awful to party with. I think so.
