The Colorado Avalanche of the NHL hockey league said on Thursday that they have signed a one-year rookie contract with Finnish forward Jere Innala.
Jere Innala26, has played the last two seasons in Frölunda of the Swedish SHL.
In the season that ended, he scored 16+12 in 42 games in the SHL regular season and was particularly effective in the playoffs (14 games, 11+4).
Innala was seen at this year’s World Cup tournament, where he scored 2+3 for Leijon in eight matches. Innala has World Championship gold from 2022 and World Championship silver from 2018.
Before Frölunda, Innala played Liiga in HPK and HIFK in 2016-22. He won the championship in HPK 2019.
