The lions bowed to Tre Kronor on May Day and suffered a defeat to Switzerland on Thursday in Tampere. According to Valtteri Filppula, Finland’s weak special situations are due to a lack of common training time.

The Lions still have plenty to file and plan before the World Hockey Championships, which start next week. Switzerland defeated Finland in Finland with 3–2 goals and was the second country to defeat Finland this season. Sweden was stronger in Helsinki in November and in Ostrava on May Day.
– Wet couple of batches. It’s hard to say if it’s already starting to race expectation or what. However, it was nice to get to play in Tampere. The rest of the week will see what kind of team is in the race, striker Teemu Hartikainen said.
Part of the audience of 9,552 people was still queuing to enter the auditoriums when popular Marko Anttila was struggled to repeal. The Lions spun the superiority inefficiently during the trial weeks and also lost their second superiority in the opening round.
Sandro Aeschlimann grabbed a couple of tasty fights, but the Swiss paint spun more domestic cats than hungry Lions.
Anttila was also beaten to death in the second installment, but the central strikers Sakari Manninen and Valtteri Filppula did not cause the game of superiority to roll with the expected results.
Switzerland escaped in the second installment
Switzerland vaccinated mercilessly when Damien Riat and Killian Mottet broke into a two-on-one attack and surprised the goalkeeper Juho Olkinuoran. Filppula’s five recorded a minus.
Switzerland did not allow their excess time to run out, but Riat doubled his lead and evening goal balance.
– The first batch was ok, but the second one was bad for us. The third started to be much better, Filppula said.
– Especially in special situations, it seems that there has not been an awful lot of training time. I am confident that there is a good tune.
Harri Pesonen finalized a 1-2 reduction at the beginning of the final round, but Christoph Bertschy again increased the getaway to two.
Hartikainen’s 2-3 goals raised tension for the last ten minutes, but Hartikainen’s cold three minutes before the end interrupted Kirin.
Harri Pesonen: “We were on the racks”
Pesonen also admitted that the Lion did not have the best evening.
– We were on the racks, a sticky match from us. We couldn’t create our own fresh game. The guy was more perky and put in his seats. It may be good to take it in the nose at times, and the winnings will taste better again, Pesonen comments.
The World Championships in Tampere Arena and Helsinki Ice Rink will start next Friday. Before that, the Lions will sharpen their claws in Stockholm, where the Czech Republic and Sweden will face off over the weekend.
– Games are running low before the World Cup, so we are trying to get the most out of them, Filppula said.
On even fifths, Filppula played on the outskirts of the league Jere Innala and Markus Nurmi.
– The fields of each game have changed (during the camp), and coaching is thinking about new systems. It’s good to play with different dudes, as experience with new players may be needed, for example in the event of injuries. It was okay with Innala and Nurmi. The third installment was also the best.
