Linus Ullmark is celebrated after “biggest victory this year”

It might seem odd to talk about the biggest win of the year after a shutout victory in the 28th inning of the regular season after a record-setting spring season, but Montgomery didn’t mince words.

– It is because of the attitude on the bench. It’s the first time I felt that there was energy, emotion and that everyone believed in it, says Montgomery to the AP.

Linus Ullmark’s contribution to the goal was highlighted afterwards.

“Fantastic job by Ullmark”

– It’s a seven-week victory for us. It was of course a great job by Ullmark to keep us in the game early and then a great job when we killed off games in the box play and in the power play we finally scored some important goals, says Pastrnak, the Czech who ten years ago played a couple of seasons with Södertälje SK.

Boston was down throughout the game and equalized at 4-4 first with three minutes left in regular time.

– We were focused on the task and did not complain or be negative towards each other or anything like that, says Ullmark.

In the Islanders, Simon Holmström, formerly of HV71, scored the 2-0 goal in the second period and also a goal in the penalty shootout. It was the second game in a row that Holmström scored – on the other hand, the Islanders’ winning streak of four games broke.
