Linus Klasen is in great shape after the break he was forced to take last month.
The 38-year-old scored two of the goals when Djurgården won the derby against AIK 4-1. Afterwards, he gave a clear answer to the age and fat taunts he heard on the ice.
– But it’s a damn good fat guy. I will turn 39 soon, he tells Sportbladet.
At the end of November each Linus Klasen38, back on the ice for Djurgården. He had then been removed from the match squad for just over a month. The club forced him to take a break to train and improve his physical status. Since the return, things have gone well for both Klasen and Djurgården. On Wednesday, they won the derby against AIK 4-1.

– If they get deportations, they get it. It’s nothing that we focus on, but we get ready when we have to play the power play, he tells Sportbladet.

It was grumpy on the ice, as it should be in a derby. Klasen ended up in discussion with AIK’s Eric Norin. Now the two-goal scorer tells what was said between the two of them. Turns out he had taunts directed at him.
– Yes, he calls me fat. There was nothing more to it. But it’s a damn good thickie. I’ll be 39 soon. It’s just too good to pass up, he says.

He says that he didn’t really want to continue the mouthing, but at the same time, he can’t really hold back after the victory.
– No, there’s no point in arguing on the ice really. Just smack it in the crotch instead. I think we’re pretty good winners when we win. Because we’re going to win. But it’s never fun to be mocked when you lose. It was nice to snap him (Norin) on the nose properly, says Klasen.
