Linus Klasen’s clever response to the taunts after the victory derby against AIK

Linus Klasen is in great shape after the break he was forced to take last month.
The 38-year-old scored two of the goals when Djurgården won the derby against AIK 4-1. Afterwards, he gave a clear answer to the age and fat taunts he heard on the ice.
– But it’s a damn good fat guy. I will turn 39 soon, he tells Sportbladet.

– Yes, he calls me fat. There was nothing more to it. But it’s a damn good thickie. I’ll be 39 soon. It’s just too good to pass up, he says.

He says that he didn’t really want to continue the mouthing, but at the same time, he can’t really hold back after the victory.
– No, there’s no point in arguing on the ice really. Just smack it in the crotch instead. I think we’re pretty good winners when we win. Because we’re going to win. But it’s never fun to be mocked when you lose. It was nice to snap him (Norin) on the nose properly, says Klasen.
