She was presented as an artist with a forest Sami onset in the broadcast. And so Linnea Henriksson was also Sápmi’s only hope in this year’s Melodifestival.
But for the first time in three years, no Sami artist continued in the competition.
After a swaying qualification before the press corps on Thursday, Linnea Henriksson placed herself far outside the favorite snack early. When it came to Saturday evening, the number sat much better – although a glove too much went halfway into the song. However, she does not seem to have brought the TV audience. She finished in last place in the starting field.
Jubla instead got the pre -favorite John Lundvik with “Voice of the Silent” and the half -bang Maja Ivarsson with “Kamikaze Life”. New for this year is that only one song goes on to the qualification, which was previously called the second chance. That place went to Meira Omar with “Hush hush”.
