Frida Karlsson won the five-mile in Holmenkollen by far.
One of the many who was really impressed was teammate Linn Svahn.
After the race, she sent a beautiful pass to her friend Frida.
In advance, not many female skiers were looking forward to the five-mile race at the World Cup in Holmenkollen. Last year was the first time in history that the ski ladies’ three-mile race was extended to five miles on Norwegian soil.
Frida’s great success
One of the few who looked forward to the great challenge was Sweden Frida Karlsson. In the weekend’s race, she also showed why by outclassing the entire world elite during the Norwegian ski festival.

“The plan was to ‘have some ice in my stomach as we say in Sweden’ and then just go for it. Take the flag at the riot in Holmenkollen. A lifegoal!”, writes an exuberantly happy Frida on Instagram after the big victory.
Linn Svahn’s words
One of the many who was impressed by Karlsson’s crush was his Swedish teammate Lynn Svahn. She herself had to settle for eleventh place, but chose to focus on the joy for her friend after the weekend’s race.
