Linn Svahn hardly recognizes herself.
When she opens up about the fight with Ebba Andersson.
– Then we wouldn’t have been best friends, Svahn admits to Expressen.
It’s time for another World Cup weekend in Oberhof, Germany, and one name on many people’s lips these days is Lynn Svahn. The Swede showed during the Tour de Ski that she is seriously back after her tough problems.
Svahn’s Wrath
After double operations and two years of rehabilitation for shoulder problems, Svahn has had to fight his way back. During the mini-tour at the turn of the year, the Swede won three of seven stages and showed everyone that she is one of the world’s best sprinters again.

Recently, she also guested on the SVT program “Kallprat” and then it became a really uncomfortable atmosphere for Linn. When she had to look back at herself as a 20-year-old and how pissed off she was at her teammate Ebba Andersson after a crash in Ruka over three years ago.
– That is embarrassing to see. Because it is not well managed. You might think that I should have restrained myself, but apparently I couldn’t, she says in the TV program.
“Not friends”
Svahn becomes uneasy when she sees the pictures of herself three years ago and how angry she could get as a young skier.
– If I got to meet the person I was four years ago today… then I don’t know if we would have been best friends. I don’t think so, says Svahn to Expressen and explains why.
– That’s how life is. A lot changes – including yourself. Back then it felt like my whole life depended on winning a ski competition, but I’m not there now. Once I’m on the starting line, that’s the most important thing. But not otherwise. And it feels pretty good now. There are worse things than a crash in Ruka in this life.

24-year-old Linn Svahn has a completely different calm about her these days and can handle her emotions much better. The winning skull is still there but she doesn’t fire up in the extreme way she did when she was young.
– I still care, I will. But I no longer care in the way that I turn into a ragata, she says to the evening newspaper.
