Linn Svahn continues to rack up World Cup victories.
Now she has also surpassed the legendary Charlotte Kalla.
– Nah!? Is that so?, says a surprised Svahn to Expressen.
It cannot be stopped Lynn Svahn currently. The 24-year-old has really found his way back to his old self and is racking up World Cup victories on a continuous basis.
Svahn’s great success
Svahn dominates in the sprint and has won four straight sprint finals at World Cup finals. In the month of January alone, the skiing star secured a total of six World Cup victories and is second in the overall results list, after the American Jessie Diggins.

After winning the sprint in Oberhof, she reached a nice milestone, passing a childhood idol of hers. Svahn achieved 13 World Cup victories and surpassed himself Charlotte Kalla who has 12 pieces from his successful career.
Better than Kalla
Something that Linn himself had no idea about.
– Nah!? Is that so? I didn’t know that, says a surprised Svahn to Expressen.

Linn Svahn still thinks she has a long way to go to reach the Swedish ski queen Kalla’s level.
– But then I want to say that Charlotte Kalla can add quite a few championship merits that I lack. So even if I pass her in the number of World Cup victories, it’s not a big deal, she says in the interview.
More medals
Namely, Kalla can boast nine Olympic medals and 13 World Cup medals, a lot of which are gold medals. While Svahn can only show one JVM relay bronze from 2019.
– It is not possible to put an “equals sign” between us just because of that, Linn admits to the evening newspaper.
