Linn Svahn has had an absolutely fantastic ski season this winter.
She is back at the top of the world again as one of our top cross-country skiers.
Now she reveals the most unexpected thing about the question that many Swedes wonder about.
Finally!, we probably all felt when Lynn Svahn took his first World Cup victory in over 1,000 days in this year’s Tour de Ski. She has certainly earned success again after a two-year nightmare of injuries, surgeries and rehabilitation.
Svahn’s success
That World Cup victory would also be the start of a real dream season. Because after that, Svahn lined up several victories in a row and became a serious contender for the overall World Cup title.

Linn chased the American Jessie Diggins into the last but had to settle for second place in the overall standings after a total of 13 podium finishes and six individual World Cup victories. Linn Svahn still took home the overall sprint cup and can sum up an incomparably good skiing season.
Unexpected answer
She is back at the top of the world again to stay and the Swedish national team star is also extremely popular in our elongated country. Aside from the ski tracks, she values her private life very highly and rarely shares her ordinary life.

How did you get started in cross-country skiing?
– I think I got a pair of skis that you strap onto your shoes, it was like at the same time that I learned to walk, so you could try walking with them instead, she says in a clip on Instagram, see it below.
Eat one dish for the rest of your life?
– One hundred percent sausage sauce with rice.
How do you celebrate a victory?
– Actually, not so much. You sometimes get cheese when you’re on the podium, like three kg of Gruyère. I usually distribute that to those who I think deserve it and who have helped me.
