Linn Svahn and Frida Karlsson now reveal the truth – that’s why they refuse to argue with Kristine Stavå’s Skistad: “She is…”

They have really settled the ski tracks.
Linn Svahn and Kristine Stavås Skistad have been great rivals during the winter.
But now the Swedes reveal why they do not want to argue with the Norwegian rival.

When it comes to the sprint races during this year’s ski season, it has largely been about only two names. We are of course talking about Swedish Lynn Svahn and Norwegian Kristine Stavå’s Ski City.

Svahn’s great success

When the sprint season finished on Friday with the very last race in Falun, it is now clear that Svahn has won six races and Skistad has won six races. But it is still Linn who has won the overall sprint cup thanks to her reaching the final in 13 out of 13 sprint races during the winter and taking the podium in 12 of them.

Incredibly impressive numbers for the Swede who has truly found his way back to the top of the world again after a few tough years with injuries and rehabilitation.
– I think it’s a lot of fun with Svahn, says Skistad to the Norwegian newspaper VG about the duel against the Swede.
– It’s fun to follow. But it doesn’t matter who I beat, Svahn admits.

Ski town about Linn

But it is a completely different Linn Svahn these days, she has grown from the hot-tempered and cocky side and is now considerably more humble. Which Stavås Skistad, which likes to send glints and mocking passes, thinks is boring.
– Yes, she seems calmer now, the Norwegian tells the newspaper.
– I thought it was much more fun before, but she probably needs a season to get into it again.

The teammate Frida Karlsson agree that it is a changed Linn.
– Svahn has become more confident in himself. She is more clear and has an aura that you respect a lot. But she’s just as weird as me really, says Frida to VG with a laugh.
– She just hides it a little more.

Karlsson reveals

Karlsson also reveals why the Swedes don’t fuss and send giggles as much as Kristine Stavå’s Skistad does.
– Kristine works quite a lot to get that fight started, but then Linn is not the first to jump on it. For Linn, it’s about having the feeling that you are the best – not who you are better than, says Frida to the Norwegian newspaper and continues about Skistad:
– You don’t know much about her, but she is very talented. That is what she builds her character on. She doesn’t give very long answers, she doesn’t talk as much as the rest of us. I can stand and chatter in the interviews, while she gives three words and then it’s good. But she’s mysterious and it’s funny that there are different personalities.

In any case, Frida Karlsson has no plans to engage in the war of words against the Norwegian competitor.
– But how strange would it have been if I said something “cheeky” to her? And then I get beaten with half a riot in a sprint, says Frida with a laugh.
