(Finance) – Lindbergh communicates that the subsidiary company Lindbergh France has sold the business unit relating to night delivery activities made in France to the TCS company owned by the Sterne groupa multinational with over thirty years of experience in logistics and transport solutions. The transfer will be effective from 1 January 2025.
Michele CorradiCEO of the Lindbergh Group, explains that “the decision to exit the French night delivery market was a direct and natural consequence of the Group’s growth strategy. The entry into the HVAC sector in 2023, as well as the excellent development prospects of the Business Unit Circular Economy that emerged in 2024 has led us to focus our energy and resources on these opportunities that we believe are most promising. Through the proceeds of the sale we will accelerate the process of aggregating new target companies in the sector In parallel, we will continue to invest and grow our traditional business in the Italian market, for the benefit of our historic customers. Lindbergh France will remain within the scope and will be the vehicle for the development of the Circular Economy Business Unit, in particular to the project for the regeneration of materials deriving from waste management for fashion and luxury companies, mostly based in France”.
The business branch sold, relating to the subsidiary Lindbergh France, has as its object the transport and delivery activities of spare parts and related ancillary servicessuch as the collection of waste on board the vans of the maintenance technicians served. The business unit, in the first half of 2024, generated revenues of 5.2 million euros with an EBITDA margin of 1.7% and, as of 31 December 2023, revenues of 10.7 million with an EBITDA margin of 0. 4%.
