Limelight Hour on December 31st – Start and Bonuses
When does the spotlight hour start? As always, the spotlight hour starts at 6:00 p.m. After exactly 60 minutes, at 7:00 p.m., it ends again.
Which bonuses are active? If you develop Pokémon during the short event, you will receive double the amount of experience points. It doesn’t matter which monster you develop.
If you use a lucky egg, you can increase the experience points even further and even get 4 times the amount for each development.
Can you catch Shiny Togetic? Yes, if you’re lucky, you can also find and catch Togetic’s Shiny form in the event.
Is the spotlight hour worth it? Togetic can be used in the Superliga. It should be noted that it is not one of the absolute top monsters in the league, but can place itself in the middle of the field.
If you evolve Togetic into Togekiss, you will also receive a strong fairy attacker for your raid teams. You can also find Togekiss in the list of the strongest attackers in Pokémon GO if you look at the Fairy-type monsters.
If you have accumulated a lot of monsters to develop and are busy collecting experience points, then you can use the event to get some additional experience points.
