Two years after the murder of 12-year-old Adriana, best friend Lilly still misses her.
After many, many tears, a feeling also grows towards those who shot.
– I just think, karma will come, no matter what, she says.
The trial against the suspected murderers has just begun.
The evidence includes a music video in which the actors pose with weapons – including the Kalashnikov that could technically be tied to the Adriana murder.
In the video, the chorus sings that “life is absolutely incredible, life is like in the movies”.
But for several of those involved, “life like in the movies” has taken on a different meaning.
The defendants can now be seen on a real film screen – which the audience at the trial can watch in a side room in the Attunda district court.
“Completely irresponsible”
Adriana’s best friend Lilly, who had just turned 16, sat with her on the first day. When asked what it would mean if someone was convicted, she says that she will never get Adriana back anyway.
– It’s nice that they don’t go here and deal with weapons they can’t handle, which they’ve proven they can’t do, she says.
Lilly was texting Adriana just minutes before she fell victim to the bullets that were fired at the McDonalds restaurant where there were lots of people.
– The afterlife! Shit, I have no words for how stupid that is. They are completely irresponsible, she says of the perpetrators.
“Adriana will never be forgotten”
The latest episode of the podcast Aftonbladet Krim is about the hunt for Adriana’s killer and how the now accused could finally be called in.
Lilly also talks there about the loss, that she never clicked with someone like Adriana, that they were like sisters.
In her own grief work, and so that Adriana will never be forgotten, Lilly wrote a poem that also became a song.
She says that she was extremely nervous, that she didn’t really dare when she was going to sing it for the first time – at the This is Alby festival.
But on stage, something almost magical happened.
