The sentence is reduced for a Swedish man who was sentenced to death in Iraq for drug offences. He is now sentenced to eleven years in prison instead, according to information to TV4 Nyheterna.
The man, who is 35 years old, has dual citizenship.
TT has contacted the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which cannot confirm the information.
Three more Swedes have been sentenced to death in Iraq for being involved in a fatal shooting.
