Five people were taken to hospital after a collision near Gemla outside Växjö at lunchtime on Friday. One of them, a man in his 30s, has life-threatening injuries and a man of the same age has serious injuries, according to Region Kronoberg. Two men and a child under the age of 18 were slightly injured.
The accident occurred on county road 707 just west of Gemla. According to initial information, there must have been a head-on collision, the police write on their website, and initially several of the people involved were trapped in the vehicles.
