The prosecutor is calling for life imprisonment for the 27-year-old who was charged with a knife murder in Oskarshamn in September. The attack on a man in his 50s, who had gone out into town to buy ice cream and then met the robbers by chance, has been described by prosecutor Linda Caneus as a robbery-murder.
She describes how the man was subjected to severe suffering and fear of death, reports the Barometer:
– This deed actually has the character of execution, says the prosecutor.
For the 30-year-old who was also involved in the assault, she is asking for between eight and nine years in prison for aggravated robbery. During the ongoing assault, the 27-year-old disappeared to retrieve a knife. The prosecutor notes that the 30-year-old then did nothing to help the assaulted man, but on the contrary continued to pressure him for money.
