Life sentence for murder in Kalmar is established
A 28-year-old man, who was sentenced by the Kalmar district court to life imprisonment for murder, has the sentence determined by the Göta Court of Appeal.
A 25-year-old man was shot in the back on Ängöleden in Kalmar on March 6, 2022. Kalmar suffered three murders in the first half of 2022 – all of the shooting deaths were part of a conflict between two criminal gangs. The murder at Ängö was the second in a row.
In addition to murder, the man is also convicted of causing danger to another.
