A 20-year-old Brantford resident had their driver’s license suspended for 30 days and vehicle impounded for 14 days after they were caught driving more than 40 km-h over the speed limit in Brant County.
Brant OPP said that, just after 10:30 am on Dec. 16, an officer stopped a vehicle on Colborne Street East that was traveling at more than 100 km-h in a posted 60 km-h zone.
The driver is charged with stunt driving (excessive speed), speeding in excess of 40 km-h over the limit, having an improper muffler and driving with a valid permit.
