The liberation festivals have been having a hard time for years. In the Corona Years, the reserves of the festivals have shrunk considerably and the first edition after the Pandemie, that of 2023, was disastrous in terms of weather. “Festivals were stopped, people remained at home and the hospitality income was limited,” said the organization. That year, the festival did not seem to continue anyway due to money problems, but it was saved in the nick of time because the KF Hein Fonds and a beer brand started.
