The most important thing in a television is of course the picture and the LG G4 is stunning. The new OLED META panel achieves a extremely high peak brightness (1,600 nits), allowing HDR highlights to really shine.
Of course, you get almost infinite contrasts, impressive colors and perfect blacks, as is typical for OLED. There are only a few TVs on the market that can keep up with the picture quality (e.g. the incredibly expensive Panasonic MZW2004*).
Home cinema enthusiasts are particularly pleased with the Dolby Vision Filmmaker Modewhich displays the colors extremely naturally and optimizes the image reproduction for unadulterated home cinema quality. Dolby Vision IQ also dynamically adjusts the image to the lighting conditions in the room.
Everything you need for gaming is also on board: Four HDMI 2.1 ports with 120 HzVRR, ALLM and eARC leave nothing to be desired. You can even play in 4K at up to 144Hz – this is especially pleasing for PC gamers.

Computerbild gives it a score of 1.1, hifi.de a score of 9.4 out of 10. The LG television takes the top spot on the podium. The English-language magazine What Hi-Fi? also gives it a top rating of 5 out of 5 stars.
Only a few negative points were criticized in the tests. Above all, the TV sound just solid, which is no surprise considering the screen’s ultra-thin construction. You should add a soundbar for maximum immersion.
