LG, one of the technology giants based in South Korea, will exhibit its technologies that empower automobiles with artificial intelligence at CES 2025.

This AI-based in-cabin sensing solution is designed to bring greater safety and convenience to the driving experience by leveraging LG’s Vision AI solution to detect and respond to the needs of vehicle occupants while optimizing conditions inside the cabin. Under the theme “Life is Beautiful 24/7 with Caring Intelligence,” this AI-powered sensing solution will be showcased along with other LG AI innovations at the company’s CES booths.

The AI In-Car Experience starts by detecting and analyzing both the driver and the vehicle interior in real time through two key systems: Driver Monitoring System (DMS) and Driver and Interior Monitoring System (DIMS). Both systems, powered by Vision AI, will be demonstrated at CES through immersive, interactive simulations that allow attendees to experience the vehicle cabin of the future. These simulations will highlight how LG’s technology can accurately analyze driving conditions and driver status in real-time, offering a hands-on preview of the AI-enabled in-car experience.
At the heart of LG’s vision for mobility innovation, the AI-powered in-cab sensing solution intuitively adapts to individual preferences and needs, offering tailored services such as personalized driving routes, real-time updates on road conditions, and information about nearby infrastructure and points of interest. DMS can determine the driver’s physical health and emotional state through real-time heart rate monitoring and facial expression recognition.
