What will the world look like in 2050? What future will we choose? How will our means of transport evolve? Our eating habits? Our energy sources?
As 2050 dawns, the world finds itself at a critical crossroads, facing ecological challenges of unprecedented scale. The choices we make today will directly influence the ecological landscape of tomorrow, raising fundamental questions about how we can collectively shape a sustainable future for generations to come.
This year, through an immersive and interactive format, the MTI uses fiction to encourage each participant to think about the future they would like to help build. Many experts from diverse backgrounds will address the main socio-environmental challenges we face. These issues will be explored through the prism of the four scenarios of ADEME (Ecological Transition Agency). These scenarios present potential futures in which we could achieve carbon neutrality in 2050, involving various economic, social and technical options: Frugal Generation, Territorial Cooperation, Green Technologies and Restorative Bet.
The MTI will welcome you from 5:30 p.m. in an immersive space dedicated to the various scenarios of 2050. Then, from 6:45 p.m., during the interactive conference, each expert will delve into key themes linked to our future potential, in particular the agri-food industry, travel or the use of energy, explored through the prism of different scenarios. Meet on March 27 at Paris-Dauphine University (Pl. du Maréchal de Lattre de Tassigny, 75016 Paris), Amphitheater 8 Edgar Faure. The ticket office is online here.
