Mathias Penguilly : The “rabbit tax”. It has a very cute name, but it may be much less cute with your finances. If we take the Larousse definition, a “tax” is a tax levy made in return for a service provided to those administered. In the case of this “rabbit tax”, Erwan, what type of service is this?
Erwan Bruckert : This would be a tax on a medical service. And again, not just any type of benefit: missed medical appointments. Every year, 28 million medical consultations are not honored. So if you want, more than compensation for services rendered, it will be a sort of punitive tax, a bit like a carbon tax on large emitters…
