Formula 1 will be contested this weekend in Las Vegas.
A Finnish driver driving towards the finish line of his F1 career Valtteri Bottas took the 16th and 11th places in the Las Vegas gp practice early on Friday Finnish time.
Bottas has flashed his pace earlier this season, but Sauber has slowed down as the race weekends progress. The Finnish champion has not scored a single point in the World Cup this season.
The three-time world champion of the royal class of car racing and Red Bull, who is once again leading the World Series Max Verstappen ran 5th and 17th in practice.
Seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton rushed Mercedes to the best lap times in both practices. McLaren, which is second in the World Championship Lando Norris was third and second. George Russell underlined Mercedes’ pace with their second and third place.
The third practices and time trials are early on Saturday morning Finnish time and the competition on Sunday morning.
