Leverkusen, represented by Finnish national team goalkeeper Lukas Hradecky, defeated Inter in the soccer Champions League on Tuesday.
Lukas Hradecky was himself on the bench when the German club celebrated a 1–0 home win over Serie A third-placed Inter.
Leverkusen Fullback Nordi Mukielen a last-minute goal in the 90th minute gave the home team a tasty victory over Inter, to whom the setback was only the first they conceded in this season’s football Champions League.
Shots on goal were marked 5–0 for Leverkusen in the match, i.e. Inter did not get a single shot on goal by Matěj Kovář guarded goal. The goal expectation of the Italian club was only 0.26 in the struggle.
Nathan Tella rattled Inter’s post at the start of the match. Also By Florian Wirtz and Jonathan Tahin the shots were good scoring attempts for Leverkusen.
Having suffered their first defeat in the UCL, Inter fell to fourth in the league, while Leverkusen moved up 13 points and into second. After six rounds of games, Liverpool leads the league with a clean sheet, i.e. with a full 18 points.
Real Madrid stars Kylian Mbappe, Vinicius Junior and Jude Bellingham scored the goals in a 3–2 away win against Atalanta. In the end, Madrid was even lucky, because Atalanta Mateo Retegui failed to equalize in added time. 15-time UCL champion Real continues in the league only in 18th place.
