Level up faster for a short time & exciting rewards thanks to the Festival of Fools

Leksand extended the winning streak beat AIK

In the MMORPG The Elder Scrolls Online there are in-game events. From March 29th, 2023 to April 6th, 2023 the Festival of Fools awaits you. MeinMMO tells you everything about this year’s event and how you can effectively get the many rewards.

When is the Festival of Fools? It starts today, March 29, 2023 at 16:00 CEST and runs until Tuesday, April 06, 2022 at 16:00 CEST.

Update: March 29, 2023 – Rewards updated, added new box for related posts

What is the Festival of Fools? This is an event appropriate for April 1st. It’s one of those events that also gives a 100% experience bonus. So if you still have unfinished characters, then you should take advantage of the XP bonus. The experience bonus can also be combined with potions and scrolls.

How exactly does XP farming work? You can read more about this in our guide on how to get a super high amount of experience (XP) in a short time.

So you can participate in the Festival of Fools

If you have participated in the event in previous years, you can use the “Fool’s Pie” memento simply via your shortcut. This grants you a 100% experience bonus for 2 hours.

Otherwise, go to one of the Jester’s Pavilions outside the capital of the starting areas (Davon’s Watch in Stonefalls, Vulkhel Watch in Auridon, or Daggerfall in Glenumbra). Speak there with a fool disguised as the leader of an alliance.

As a little help, you can get the Jester’s Festival Invitation quest for free in the Crown Store. This will then guide you safely to the Fools’ Pavilion.

These rewards are available at the Jester’s Festival

Look forward to the familiar rewards from the Fool’s Festival gifts. You get this for completing a daily quest for the Jester’s Festival. For the first such quest of the day, you’ll even get a massive Jester’s Festival gift.

These well-known rewards are waiting for you:

  • Festive wonder-makers
  • cherry blossom confetti
  • holiday cake
  • Festive furnishings
  • Provisioning Recipes for the Fool’s Festival
  • “Stibitztes” – junk, for which you get gold from a trader
  • Style pages from previous years
  • In the massive Fool’s Festival Gifts you’ll also find:

  • Runebox: Fool’s Scintillator
  • Rune Box: Cherry Blossom Branch
  • Style Pages: Weapons from Cadwell’s kitchen outfit
  • Fragments for jokers
  • High Island Treasure Maps
  • Festive noisemaker parts
  • Fragments for the Fool’s Daedrothsuit (Costume)
  • Special rewards at the Festival of Fools at a glance

The muse of devotion is the elegant personality you can get currently.

But be careful here: It is advisable to only get items from the impresaria that you can really only get from her. The other items can also be earned and your event tickets will probably not be enough for everything.

You can get a total of 3 x 8 tickets at the event, i.e. a total of 27 event tickets. However, you can only have 12 Event Tickets at a time. So before you continue questing, go to the Impresaria and exchange them for the special rewards that you can only get from her:

  • All three fragments for the dedicated dancer NEW (Companion):
  • Light green lily leaves
  • Enchanted Silver Flute
  • Mystical sheet music
  • All three fragments for the muse of devotion (Personality):
  • Bottle of Silver Mist
  • Finecrafted Staff of the Dancer
  • Inserts made from pressed lily leaves
  • If you still have Event Tickets left over, you can of course use them for everything else. Because who doesn’t know it, sometimes this one item just doesn’t want to drop.

So you get many rewards until the end of the event

Do as many Jester’s Festival daily quests as possible

So that you can still get as many rewards as possible, you have to do all the daily quests in the best case. You can also do the same quests with all other characters on the same day. But don’t expect a lot of variety.

As an achievement hunter, you probably won’t be able to avoid it. Because you have to do activities several times for achievements for the event. However, there are also some achievements that take place outside of the daily quests.

So browse through your notes to see what you are still missing. But remember, ESO now has account-wide achievements.

Complete the daily event quests with your friends and guild members

The quests are simply more fun in a group and of course you will also get useful tips from other players or you can fight your way through achievements together.

In addition, you can share these daily quests within your group and thus complete them in the same order and thus together.

Exchange items with your community, your friends or your guild

You will definitely get one or the other reward twice. But that’s not a problem, because you can simply trade with other players.
