Letters containing white powder have been sent to the Finnish Embassy in Moscow today. The pro-Kremlin reported on the matter Izvestija (you switch to another service).
These are three envelopes addressed to Finnish diplomats. The Russian police are now in the embassy building to investigate the matter.
The unknown substance was sent from the embassy to experts for evaluation.
The embassy has not yet confirmed the information. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ communications emergency could not comment on the matter in any way on Thursday evening.
The Finnish embassy in Moscow was attacked by masked persons last December.
