The year was 2006 when “Let’s dance” premiered for the first time in TV4. Winning out of the first season, which was programmed by David Hellenius and Agneta Sjödinwent the artist Måns Zelmerlöw.
Since then, a variety of celebrities have lifted the famous glass shoe, including Anton HysénThe Ingemar Stenmark and Jon Henrik Fjällgren.
In the fall of 2023, however, it was clear that the program, which had not had the same viewership as before, would be put on ice for an indefinite period. Therefore, there was no new season in 2024.
Instead, viewers had to wait until the spring of 2025 before the nineteenth season in the order premiered – then under the leadership of Pär Lernström and Johanna Nordström.
So far, “Let’s dance”, during the six programs sent, has managed to attract the most linear viewers during Saturday nights, according to MMS which measures viewing programs, clips and advertising on TV and online video.
But during the course of the season, the program has been criticized. The new arrangement with pre -recorded qualifying sections, lighting and studio are some of the things that have made viewers react.
In addition to the criticism, the program was also reported to the Review Board in early April. This after joking about the former juror Dermot Clemenger which has been internationally wanted for some 30 sex purchases.
Now it turns out that the program has been reported again. In two notifications to the Review Board as News24 Taken note of viewers criticize the language in Saturday’s “Let’s dance”.
“Must write and complain about swearing that the judges on ‘Let’s dance’ evict to the person who performed a good dance. “‘Let’s dance’ is still a family program and very bad that they have to swear to millions of viewers. Sharpening TV4,” is in the second notification.
So far, the authority has not made a decision whether the case should be tried. When News24 contacts TV4 for a comment, they state that they “wait for the Review Board”.
