Leonardo DiCaprio praises his serial killer film as a masterpiece
Leonardo DiCaprio’s filmography includes many incredibly iconic appearances. But even in this illustrious life’s work, his new film Killers of the Flower Moon by exceptional director Martin Scorsese occupies a special position. Apparently he recently opened this up to a colleague. Leonardo DiCaprio’s serial killer film is a “masterpiece” – despite festival problems

Jacqueline West, the film’s costume designer, revealed to Deadline:

I spoke to Leo about it. He mean: “Jackie, I think we’ve been working on a masterpiece.” Saying that is for [ihn] already something special. He doesn’t say things like that lightly. After all, he has been in the film business since childhood.

Scorsese’s film tells the true story of a series of Murders of members of an indigenous tribe in the US state of Oklahoma in the 1920s. DiCaprio’s assessment may be a sign of loyalty or euphoria. However, the quality of his previous collaborations with Scorsese, including Shutter Island and The Wolf of Wall Street, can hardly be disputed.

However, Leonardo DiCaprio’s new epic was already causing problems. Due to its extreme length of allegedly 200 minutes the prestigious film festival in Cannes is said to only want to show the film out of competition.
