Leo-Pekka Tähti is now a 32-time prize medalist – for the Finnish track athlete, World Cup silver from his favorite distance

Track and field great Leo-Pekka Tähti has once again reached the medal position in the para-athletic world championships.

Leo-Pekka Tähti40, has claimed World Cup silver with a season’s best time of 13.77 in the para-athletics class T54 men’s 100m breaststroke in Paris.

– I have to be really satisfied, the best time of the season after all. And I didn’t let the young guy (20-year-old Thai winner) off easily, grinned the satisfied Finn.

Tähti estimated that his departure was excellent and it was technically the best of the season.

– It’s good that the goal ended at the hundred mark, when the Chinese came really hard at the end, Tähti grinned in an interview with .

Tähti is now a 32-time prize medalist.

– It was great to finish with the big Finnish flag. I remembered Athens 2004 (Tähti’s first Paralympic victory), Tähti talked moved.
