Lemon Sistemi the listing gives visibility and resources to grow

(Finance) – Consolidation in the sector of battery energy storage plants (BESS), continuation of the development of photovoltaic systems of larger size and launch of the penetration strategy in the Italian territory with theopening of physical spaces. These are the main 2024 objectives of Lemon Systemswhich was listed on Piazza Affari to accelerate its growth plans.

“The The journey to get to the listing was quite intenselasted about 8 months, and the efforts by a small company to list on the stock exchange are truly remarkable – he told Finance Danilo Palazzolo, Co-CEO and CFO by Lemon Sistemi – And above all we must say thanks to the team that supported us, led by Banca Finnat. Today is finally the culmination of this great dream, we got here with great commitment and now we have to start working to achieve everything we have defined in our plan.”

“There will be a lot to do, but with the support of our investors we will clearly be able to do a good job and achieve the objectives perhaps sooner than expected”, said Palazzolo on the sidelines of the listing ceremony at Palazzo Mezzanotte, adding that “the listing gives Lemon the visibility and resources to achieve its goalswhich are ambitious goals.”

The society Sicilianfounded in 2009, deals with the design, supply and installation of photovoltaic, thermo-hydraulic and storage systems as well as the design of energy efficiency solutions, targeting retail customers and medium-small industrial and commercial companies.

“The territory was fundamental – he states Maria Laura Spagnolo, President and Co-CEO by Lemon Sistemi – Us we found our fertile ground in Sicilyboth with regards to solar radiation – Sicily is one of the places in Italy where, for the same installed power of a photovoltaic system, greater producibility and therefore greater production are obtained, so a photovoltaic system in Sicily has a very high efficiency – but the fact of being present in the area and therefore of being linked to territorial relationships which allowed us to identify both suppliers and collaborators, but also above all customers, also helped us”.

“So this was fundamental for our growth and became an exceptional testing ground, it is clear that from there we were also able to launch ourselves outside of Sicily, because we could create photovoltaic systems in a complex and difficult area – also from the from an urban planning point of view – allowed us to gain experience and be able to use this experience of ours to then create systems outside of Sicily“, he added.

Lemon Sistemi represents the thirty-second admission since the beginning of the year on Euronext Growth Milan (EGM), the Italian Stock Exchange market dedicated to SMEs with high growth potential, and the sixty-second listing of 2023 on Euronext. During the placement phase, Lemon Sistemi raised 2 million euros, with a free float at the time of admission of 14.54% and a market capitalization at the IPO of 12 million euros.

“The 2023 will most likely already exceed expectations – says Palazzolo – and the three years ahead of us are quite challenging and ambitious, but thanks to the support of the entire team who has accompanied us to date and who will continue to assist us in the future, and thanks to the support of our investors , we are confident that we will be able to achieve our objectives.”

Lemon Sistemi expects to close 2023 with a production value equal to 14.8 million euros, of which revenues from sales from B2B and B2C orders of photovoltaic systems for 6.8 million euros; at the end of 2023 it estimates that photovoltaic will account for 50% of total sales revenues, Superbonus 110 46% and energy efficiency 4% In terms of EBITDA a value of 2.7 million euros is expected, with a decrease inEBITDA percentage as of 31 December 2023 (18%) compared to the final data as of 31 December 2022 (34%).

“2024 will see the consolidation of Lemon in the BESS sector, where it has already signed important contracts in 2023 with two primary national operators, after which it will also see the continuation of the construction of solar power plants with sizes from 1 to 10 MW – says Palazzolo – Furthermore, in 2024 another point of our business plan will begin, which is the creation of Lemon spacesthat is, Lemon’s points of presence in medium-sized cities in Sicily and then in subsequent years in other Italian regions”.
