Leksand’s heavy setback – looks to lose tug of war for star with over 500 NHL games

Last minute The world stood up after Putins decision in

He is a name Leksand has shown interest in.
Now the NHL-qualified forward Michael Raffl seems to have decided on his future – and it won’t be in Dalarna.

Leksand finished eighth in the SHL’s basic series last spring. The Dala club then smoked directly in the round of 16 against Oskarshamn, and has since then been working hard to strengthen the squad for next season.

Looks like losing the tug of war

But it has been tough for Leksand, who got rid of several big names. Among other things, the big star Max Véronneau, who was one of the league’s best players last season, has left. However, the club has replaced the scoring forward with a real prestige acquisition in John Quenneville.

But the Dala club is still working on preparing the squad for the upcoming competition year. At the end of May, Leksand showed interest in Michael Raffl, who belonged to the club in the hockey Allsvenskan, but now looks like losing the tug of war for the star.

Was offered a two-year contract

It is the Swiss newspaper Blick that writes that Lausanne has offered Raffl a two-year contract – something that may be difficult for Leksand to match after recent reinforcements.

Should Raffl still land in Leksand, it would be a fond reunion for the audience in Tegera Arena. The forward was involved in taking Leksand up to the elite series in the 12/13 season, but then left the club.

After that, Michael Raffl has, among other things, stayed in the NHL, where he played an impressive 590 games.
