Leo’s Lekland was asked to fix all its facilities after a woman was seriously injured in Västerås. More than a year later, deficiencies remained at a facility in Luleå.

Leo’s playground is now forced to pay SEK 500,000 in penalty fees, the Swedish Consumer Agency writes in a press release.

According to a judgment in the administrative court in Karlstad, in 2019, the company received the call to fix the carpets under the play positions that led to the woman being injured.
