Leipzig announce the sacking of head coach Domenico Tedesco with immediate effect. The two assistant coaches Andreas Hinkel and Max Urwantschky are also allowed to leave the club.
How this affects the club’s Swedish element, national team star Emil Forsberg, remains to be seen. The 30-year-old has only started two games this season, one in the German Cup and the 0-4 loss against Frankfurt in the league.
