Leif “Loket” Olsson is dead

Leif “Loket” Olsson is dead, reports Aftonbladet.
– An amazing man, he is Mr. Bingolotto, says Bingolotto’s current program manager Lotta Engberg while telling that Sunday’s program will be converted into a tribute program.

The popular Bingolotto host was 82 years old.

Olsson fell asleep on Thursday at the retirement home he lived on since a month ago.

The friend and former colleague Pelle Johannisson confirms the passing to the newspaper.

– I can confirm that it is so and found out that he had died from the accommodation, where he was a month ago. It’s very boring, he says.

“He created television history”

Leif “Loket” Olsson was the program manager for Bingolotto between 1989 and 1999.

-He has created television history, he was a terrible nice thing, can I say it? Because he was a real urban citizen. We have toured together and we have laughed so much together, says Bingolotto’s current program manager Lotta Engberg.

At the same time, Engberg says that Sunday’s program by Bingolotto will be converted into a tribute program.

“You had a strong will. That no one could control in a live broadcast. Like when we were told not to talk to the king when he came on stage to award a prize. Then you stepped up to the king with the microphone and absolutely talked to the king … in live broadcast. “
