During Wednesday, the Trust Barometer 2024 was presented. In addition to the Swedes’ trust in, among other things, political parties and companies, it was also presented which people in the media the Swedes have the most trust in.

The one who topped the list was the criminologist and the author Leif GW Persson. In a interview with TV4’s Nyhetsmorgon, he does not appear to be particularly surprised.
– It’s shocking, almost, he says on the TV couch but is quick to point out that there are actually not that big differences between the people on the top ten list.

The last time the Confidence Barometer was presented was ten years ago. Even then, GW Persson was on the list but as second.
– It’s not the first time, if I’m going to be like that, says GW in Nyhetsmorgon.
He himself is not the person he has the most trust in of everyone on the list. However, there are some other names on the Confidence Barometer 2024 that appeal to GW.
– I’m quite fond of Knutssonplus kid Salihu. They have my trust to a much greater degree than I have my own, concludes Leif GW Persson.
