The escalating wave of violence in Stockholm and Uppsala is linked to a split within the criminal Foxtrot network led by Rawa Majid, one of Sweden’s most notorious and wanted criminals. He has been internationally wanted since 2020 and has also been detained in his absence by three Swedish district courts. Rawa Majid is a Swedish citizen and has been in Turkey in recent years, where he also received citizenship.
When several sources with close insight into the Foxtrot conflict stated last week that Rawa Majid would have been arrested, SVT’s crime reporter Diamant Salihu said that it could mean a severe weakening of the Foxtrot network.
– The people who are allied with him and stand by his side will no longer have protection in the same way. There are hopes that this can calm down the conflict and the attacks on family members, but whether it actually happens remains to be seen, he said.
May be incorrect information
But when the information is not confirmed a week later, Leif GW Persson becomes doubtful as to whether it is true. According to him, there are two scenarios of what could have happened.
– The silence can be interpreted as either incorrect information or that there is no working contact with Iranian authorities.
Leif GW Persson believes that getting Rawa Majid deported from Iran to Sweden is unlikely. Hear why in the player above.
