Two young women have been detained after 21-year-old Tove from Vetlanda was found dead. The women are on probable grounds suspected of kidnapping.
– They do not fit very well with the typical perpetrator in a context like this. They are two young unpunished women, small country girls. In that sense, they are unique, says Leif GW Persson.
The reason they are in custody is because they are the last people who can be linked to Tove. In addition, neighbors have heard mysterious sounds from the apartment Tove is said to have been in before she disappeared.
“Conclusion within a week”
Now they are waiting to find out the cause of death in order for the investigation to move forward.
– We will get results on the case within a week, says Leif GW Persson.
