With LEGO Fortnite, the popular game from Epic Games is getting a new mode today. We’ll tell you what kind of mode this is.
On Saturday, December 2nd, Epic Games ended Season: OG and initiated Chapter 5 Season 1 at the major Fortnite event “The Big Bang”. The developers introduced three new, permanent modes: Fortnite Festival, Rocket Racing and LEGO Fortnite.
The last mode in particular is of interest to many fans. Just one hour after the release of LEGO Fortnite, the mode has 921,000 players (as of December 7th, 2:07 p.m.).
This means that LEGO Fortnite currently has more players than all “Battle Royal” modes combined (896,000). Here you can find out what LEGO Fortnite actually is:

What is Lego Fortnite? LEGO Fortnite is a survival crafting adventure made from LEGO bricks – the small toy building blocks that cause a sharp pain if you accidentally step on them.
The mode offers you open worlds in which you can live out your creativity and experimentation while playing collaboratively with up to eight players.
The gameplay is reminiscent of Minecraft, with a particular focus on building with LEGO building blocks. The gaming experience differs quite significantly from normal Fortnite gameplay.

Different modes for survivalists and construction enthusiasts
When starting a new journey in LEGO Fortnite, you can choose between two modes:
In survival mode you encounter various dangers, have to collect food and resources and brave the elements. Your sword is an important companion.
Sandbox mode is aimed at players who just want to build. For example, you can spawn items here without having to collect resources. On top of that, you can switch off various options such as enemies, hunger and stamina.

How much does LEGO Fortnite cost? Nothing at all. You can play the new mode for free.
How can I play LEGO Fortnite? Download the latest Fortnite update and scroll down Fortnite. Then you have to open the “Discover” screen and look for “LEGO Fortnite” in the “Epic” row.
Now you can build, survive and run around as Lego figures solo or with your friends.
Since when has LEGO Forntite been playable? LEGO Fortnite was released on December 7th, 2023 after downtime ended at around 1:15 p.m. and is now officially playable in Fortnite (via lego.com).
Ahead of the release of LEGO Fortnite, the game’s servers were shut down in preparation for the update including the mode.
