LEGO Fortnite is getting fancy new content, but if you want it you have to pay up to 55 euros

With update 29.00, Lego Fortnite has received a comprehensive update. There are chic, new sets and decorative elements. But you sometimes have to dig deep into your pockets. Many players are anything but enthusiastic about this and are calling for a boycott of the high prices.

With the new Chapter 5 Season 2, Fortnite also introduced new content for LEGO Fortnite. But the enthusiasm among fans is limited: The new components are all paid for and you have no chance of getting them for free.

Three new sets for LEGO, but the prices are pretty steep

How much do the new sets cost? There are a total of three sets with new parts and objects that will appear in the shop in the coming weeks (via gamerant.com):

  • Beach Boulevard Bundle: Includes 7 components and 44 decorative objects. The cost is 1,900 V-Bucks.
  • Durrr Burger Bundle: Includes 3 components and 42 decorative objects. The cost is 2,000 V-Bucks.
  • Lion Knight’s Castle Bundle: Includes 10 components and 64 decorative objects. The price is 2,500 V-Bucks.

    • The first two sets should be available in the shop on March 9th, the third set, the knight’s castle, should be available from March 16th.

    How much does the fun cost in euros? If you really want to have all three sets, you have to spend 5,400 V-Bucks. That’s the equivalent of around 55 euros if you cleverly combine the V-Bucks bundles with each other.

    Can you get the LEGO sets for free? No, there is no other option to get the sets mentioned.

    Players react angrily and complain about the high prices

    How do the players react? The new content is already being discussed on reddit and the reactions are anything but positive. Many say that such content should be boycotted until LEGO Fortnite is in an acceptable state. LEGO Fortnite is fun, but there’s just too much missing. This is how someone explains:

    There isn’t even nearly enough content and the game [LEGO Fortnite] is still faulty. That’s honestly an insult. They should have used the time and resources they spent on these monetary kits to give us more free content that the game desperately needs.
