Not only friendly animals and NPCs await you in LEGO Fortnite, but also numerous enemies and other dangers. We’ll explain how you can increase your armor to protect yourself in the guide.
How to increase your armor in LEGO Fortnite: In LEGO Fortnite you increase your armor value not through special clothing, but through items that you can craft at your workbench. These include lucky charms and jewelry. The items not only increase your armor, but also give you a bonus to your health in the form of hearts and sometimes even have other effects.
You can see the bonus to armor and hearts in the item overview at the top right. The bonuses are stacked. You have a total of 4 slots for armor and can equip 3 items of the same type:
You can make these lucky charms and jewelry:
For the items with additional information you need a workbench with the same level (uncommon/rare)
There are also epic variants of the items, each of which gives you 14 armor and 5 hearts (via Dot Esports). As soon as we have unlocked these ourselves in the game, we will add to the table.

Why should I increase my armor? In LEGO Fortnite there are a variety of enemies in all biomes. Stronger enemies in particular, such as the huge monsters, often manage to take a lot of hearts from you in one hit, so that you would simply die too quickly without armor.
This is particularly annoying in survival mode, as you lose your inventory there (at least if you haven’t changed that in the settings) and spawn at your base. This means you’ll have to go back to the area with the tough enemies to collect your backpack – or you’ll lose everything in it.
Bonus tip: There are meals you can make on the grill to temporarily increase your health in the form of hearts. Roughly, grilled meat gives you +2 hearts.
If you do die and have to run to the backpack, we have a suitable guide for you here that you can use to build a car: LEGO Fortnite: Build a car with a steering wheel – It’s that easy
