After five years at the Ministry of National Education, Jean-Michel Blanquer faces universal suffrage. Its base for the legislative elections is the 4th constituency of Loiret. A conquest constituency for the presidential majority where the incumbent is a Les Républicains deputy, and where Marine Le Pen came out on top in the presidential election.
The bet is therefore not won in advance for Jean-Michel Blanquer, whom his opponents describe as a “parachuted”, a “fallen minister” in search of political survival.
