D-8 before the first round of legislative elections. Early elections which created a surprise, announced by President Emmanuel Macron, just after the European results. The far-right party, the National Rally, made a historic breakthrough with more than 31% of the votes. Since Monday, the campaign has been in full swing, and we have observed three large blocks of political coalitions. On the far right, the National Rally with certain Republican candidates who followed Éric Ciotti, on the left: the New Popular Front which brings together the left-wing parties, from the PS to La France insoumise. And then there is the majority… For the moment in the polls, the far right is in the lead, followed closely by the union of the left, and finally the majority and its allies.
