Anatomy revolves around the medical student Paula (Franka Potente), who is admitted to an exclusive anatomy course run by the renowned Professor Grombek (Traugott Buhre) in Heidelberg. But on the first day she notices that something is very wrong: The Corpse on her dissection table is none other than the young man whose life she had just saved. And in his blood she finds a substance that is actually only used for dissecting animals.
