“We have more than 7,500 inhabitants and hundreds of people have helped us,” said Hazelzet. “My challenge is to reduce all those stories to a representative story about the disaster”. To hear more experiences, she will also be in De Binder on Saturday afternoon and Tuesday morning, but she is now ready to work out everything she received. “I’m still looking for stories that differ. Not the umpteenth story about a car that was a total loss, or more trees on the roof, but, for example, people who were alone in the forest, that sort of thing.”
