Leersum wants a work of art that recalls a fall

Last June, the fall wind caused enormous havoc in Leersum, Maarsbergen and the hamlet of Valkenheide. Dozens of trees were uprooted, some ended up on houses. The damage was not only extensive in built-up areas: in the Breeveen and Dartheide nature reserves, dozens of trees were also felled. As a result, some paths were irreparably damaged.
