In Leersum, Staatsbosbeheer has started replanting 25,000 young trees in the Lombok forest. In June 2021, part of this forest was hit by a fall wind. Many trees fell as a result. After the fall wind, a lot has happened to restore the Lombok forest. The replanting is the last part of the restoration work.
