Lee Christiernsson50, became known to the entire Swedish people with TV4’s popular program “Finally at home”. And in January 2025, Lee appeared in the TV box again when his program “Lee seeks love” premiered at SVT.

Lee Christiernsson came out as nonbinary trans person
Before the program was recorded, it had been 18 years since Lee was last out dating, and much has happened since then. The former “finally at home” profile touched on the entire Swedish people when in 2023 they came out as non-binary trans person in the TV4 documentary “to become Lee”.
In the spring of 2024, Lee Christiernsson became highly current yet when they posted a contact ad on Instagram where it turned out that they felt ready to date again.
“This is my contact ad! You should not think this is a joke, although it is actually a bit cranky. But now I will start dating for the first time in 18 years. Lee Christiernssons found girlfriend Petra Lindvall
And the post was a success. 250 women responded to the ad, but one of them stood out a little extra. The election eventually fell on Petra Lindvalland in the autumn of 2024, the couple appeared for the first time together in “Malou meets” where they told about their relationship. In the program, Petra told her that she was both attracted to and fascinated when she saw the documentary about Lee.
– Yes, absolutely. There was something there that made me as interested. There was something there that aroused my curiosity. And you have to have some kind of attraction to a person, Petra said.

Lee Christiernsson and Petra Lindvall: “Like romance”
Lee Christiernsson and Petra Lindvall have continued to wedge steadily since then, and when News24 Met them at the 2025’s QX gala, the couple told us more about the romance in everyday life.
What was your first impression of each other?
– It was just wonderful and wonderful. An amazing, funny person that I have a lot of fun with. It clicked so fast. says Petra.
– Exciting, good. The feeling has been like this: “Shit, can you build something on this?” You may be colored by so many stories nowadays, where people date right and left, much with the help of apps. And that you have in mind that you might meet someone the hundredth time. So you might not expect that much. But on the other hand, we did it by the book. We wrote to each other, we talked to each other about high and low. And somewhere I think we found the essence of things even before we were actually seen, Petra says.

– None of us is super romantic. But we like romance in some way. There are lots of small things, says Lee.
– Small patches when you wake up in the morning. That’s what I can offer, says Petra.
What do you do on a date night?
– It’s different, but we may try to make ourselves a little good for each other, Lee explains.
– Many times our date nights contain quite a lot of friends too, Petra agrees.
